If you have stumbled into this Blog there are something's that you should know.

This blog is here for the benefit of MDDers, men and women with "Major Depressive Disorder" or more commonly called Depression. It's goal is to find ways for MDDers to feel better without pills. Pills work, but only to a degree.

The first is to recognize that those with MDD are not bad, lazy or slugs. That is a myth. You will hear stories of small successes, and of dismal failure. It is not a pretty picture. So be warned, "This site is not for the squeamish, or children under 10".

If you continue, I would recommend that you read the following blogs: "The difference between a book and a Blog, and why a Blog is more difficult to write", "How do you feel", "Actual things that work for MDDers, that aren't Pills".

There is one other blog and to access that, look and the right hand side panel, and click on "Go to Depression for Beginners." and find "Elation and Legitimized" and read it. Reading those post should bring you up to speed. If you want to continue with "Theoretical Depression" there is a go to over on the right.

We all hope that you will get a better understand of MDDers, and why we want to fill this "Deep Crater in the Mind" as spoken of in "Elation and Legitimized".

Thank You

The theory of how most everything started, that makes "Big Bucks".

Do you remember how we learned about Fathers? If you don't remember, read the Anonymous blog again.

Now, Wilhelm Wundt, if you remember, He's the one who became the Father of Contemporary Psychology. Which is really neat, but his advanced logic ended up making him the "Father of all Professions". Which is at least 10 reallys. ( would it be better understood if I said "really x 10?"

Remember in anonymous, we learned that some 'fathers to be' were trying to figure out how to get a 'big pay day'. The question before them was 'how do you know if a guy is a nutjob or not? That’s not exactly what they said, but its close.

Remember the excitement in the backroom of the tavern?, as each 'father to be' put forth an idea.

Remember how Wilhelm, (the voice of reason) in so many words, said 'it should be very complicated, if we really wanted to hit it big'.  I know, that’s not exactly what he said, but its close. Read anonymous again, if you want to know exactly what was said.

If you remember, it was Sigmund who sort of defined what Wilhelm had said about 'complicated'.

But from this humble beginning the world of Psychology was hatched. Think of the many specialties that have been developed, and all the fancy words that were thought up and how long it took before you could make the big bucks.

Remember how Sigmund who had quietly assumed leadership of the group, (which would be hotly disputed later)? well, I'll tell you about the hot dispute latter.

To get an idea of how successful that first idea has become: Google, "psychology" now find Wikipedia, and see how successful they were in the 'complicated' part of the plan. Did you know that you can make changes in Wikipedia , I wonder?

Did you know that: The Latin word psychologia was first used by the Croatian humanist and Latinist Marko Marulić in his book, Psichiologia de ratione animae humanae in the late 15th century or early 16th century.  I didn't know that!
