If you have stumbled into this Blog there are something's that you should know.

This blog is here for the benefit of MDDers, men and women with "Major Depressive Disorder" or more commonly called Depression. It's goal is to find ways for MDDers to feel better without pills. Pills work, but only to a degree.

The first is to recognize that those with MDD are not bad, lazy or slugs. That is a myth. You will hear stories of small successes, and of dismal failure. It is not a pretty picture. So be warned, "This site is not for the squeamish, or children under 10".

If you continue, I would recommend that you read the following blogs: "The difference between a book and a Blog, and why a Blog is more difficult to write", "How do you feel", "Actual things that work for MDDers, that aren't Pills".

There is one other blog and to access that, look and the right hand side panel, and click on "Go to Depression for Beginners." and find "Elation and Legitimized" and read it. Reading those post should bring you up to speed. If you want to continue with "Theoretical Depression" there is a go to over on the right.

We all hope that you will get a better understand of MDDers, and why we want to fill this "Deep Crater in the Mind" as spoken of in "Elation and Legitimized".

Thank You

Cheney Sisters argue over gay marriage

Cheney sisters argue over gay marriage

Updated: 06:34, Tuesday November 19, 2013 From Sky News in Australia

The daughters of former US vice president Dick Cheney are quarreling publicly over comments one made opposing her sister's right to marry.

In an interview on Fox News on Sunday, Liz Cheney, who is running for a Senate seat, said she does 'believe in the traditional definition of marriage,' meaning it should be limited to unions between a man and a woman.

She said she loves her gay sister Mary and her family 'very much,' but 'this is just an issue on which we disagree.'

The remarks triggered an angry response from Mary's wife Heather Poe, who shot back on Facebook.
'Liz has been a guest in our home, has spent time and shared holidays with our children, and when Mary and I got married in 2012 -- she didn't hesitate to tell us how happy she was for us.

'To have her now say she doesn't support our right to marry is offensive to say the least,' she posted.
Reacting to Liz Cheney's comments that the issue should be left up to the states, Poe wrote 'I can't help but wonder how Liz would feel if as she moved from state to state, she discovered that her family was protected in one but not the other.

'I always thought freedom meant freedom for EVERYONE.'

Mary Cheney also posted on Facebook, telling her sister 'Liz -- this isn't just an issue on which we disagree -- you're just wrong -- and on the wrong side of history.'

After Words
It was reported later that "FOX NEWS; FAIR and BALANCED", added and subtracted from the statement made by Liz. Fox News added "the definition of traditional marriage",  words that Liz did not say, and left off the word 'also' at the end of the quote. When this news hit the street, some said: "What a difference a few words make." It was later noted that Liz and Mary made up. And when Mary and Heather were called, Mary and Heather, both in tears said "It was all a mistake.
In another article "FOX NEWS; "FAIR and BALANCED" the interviewer of the previous report, reported that:
                                 Same sex marriage removes taboos
In an interview with the interviewer, the first interviewer stated,  "Same Sex Marriage has removed taboos that have always existed with different sex marriages and added some benefits for same sex marriage."
The second interview asked: "How is that so?"
The second interviewer responded: I'm thinking of the big one, "The problem when brothers and sisters marry."
Where sure to hear more about this. Someone later pointed out that Fox News seems to always screw up the news.
Writing a Blog - Tip:
Read thru this story again, and ask yourself: "How many mistakes were made?"
Stay away from Fox News, unless you want to make a point.
There are some stories that don't have a happy ending.
